On 3 floors, we have 53 spacious rooms in different categories ready for you: 31 double rooms, 15 single rooms and seven suites. So that you fall asleep well and wake up refreshed, we make sure that you are perfectly bedded in every room: on our comfortable box-spring beds.
The Hotel Am Brinkerplatz is located in the heart of Essen-Steele. The pedestrian zone with numerous shops and restaurants is within walking distance. The city centre and trade fair are also just a few minutes away by S-Bahn. Thanks to its central location and excellent transport connections, the Hotel Am Brinkerplatz is the ideal starting point for sightseeing, excursions, trade fair visits and, of course, for the numerous cultural events that the greater Essen area has to offer.
The day starts much better with a breakfast rich in vitality and vitamins. From 07.00 am to 10.30 am a varied breakfast buffet with hot and cold dishes awaits you in the light-flooded atmosphere of our restaurant.
Enjoy selected products of the highest quality: coffee and tea specialities, a wide range of bread products, cold cuts and cheese, freshly prepared scrambled eggs, several varieties of fresh fruit, breakfast muesli as well as quark and yoghurt dishes. Our breakfast buffet also includes vegetarian and gluten-free options.

You can check into your room or suite at the Hotel Am Brinkerplatz from 3.00 pm. If you arrive earlier, we will be happy to collect your luggage.
We ask you to vacate the rooms by 11.00 am.
If you would like to use your room for longer, please contact our reception. We will be happy to check your request for you.
Would you like to arrive a little earlier than 3.00 pm? Then we offer you the option of checking in at 12.00 noon with our early check-in. You also have the option of checking out at 2.00 pm with late check-out. This means you can relax and stroll around the city or attend an appointment.
How does the whole thing work?
It's very simple! You select options in the second booking step of the online room reservation. There you will be shown various services that you can book. This includes early check-in and late check-out. You can book both options independently of each other.
If you book online (directly with us or via your booking portal), you can also check in and out online. You will receive a code so that you can use your smartphone to access the hotel and your room at the agreed check-in time. However, the prerequisite for this is that payment of the guest bill by credit card is guaranteed.
You are welcome to hand it in for safekeeping. We will keep it for you in a locked room until your departure or until your room is ready for you to move into.
If you have booked breakfast, you can enjoy our extensive breakfast buffet between 7.00 and 10.30 am.
If you would like to have breakfast earlier or later, this is generally possible. Please understand that we have to charge a surcharge for the increased labour costs.
Your pet is welcome to accompany you. However, for reasons of hygiene, please do not bring them into the restaurant. We charge € 10.00 per night and pet. We charge € 10.00 for the additional cleaning effort. Any damage caused will be charged at the actual cost of removal.
The reception is open from 7.00 am to 1.00 pm and from 3.00 pm until 7.00 pm daily.
Outside of these times, please use our online check-in or check-out and the electronic registration form.

For booking and billing reasons, we can only accept credit and debit cards as a means of payment. Therefore, please travel with a valid, active credit card.
Cash payments are not possible. Bank transfers are possible if you already have a business relationship with us.
Our online booking platform is secure and encrypted. Your transactions and personal data are protected.
The hotel's own WLAN is available to you free of charge. You will receive the access data with the activation code for your room or at reception.
The hotel does not have its own car park.
